Our programs have a wealth of special features to address advanced applications. One potential problem of technical software is that beginning users face a flood of riches and may not be aware of program capabilities available for their applications. From my experience, template setups are a good solution. An example that addresses a specific application and illustrates the relevant program features can save considerable work and anxiety.
We’ve applied our programs to a wide variety of consulting projects since 1989 (Project list). Also, we often create template examples when a software customer suggests a novel or important application. As a result, we have large collection of walkthrough examples scattered throughout our website and instruction manuals. To help users, we are transforming application reports to a standard PDF format and collecting them in our Technical Library under the heading of Tutorials. The first two report are Simulating a planar electron-beam gun with OmniTrak and Magnetic shield design with PerMag and Magnum. The collection will expand in the coming months as we integrate old tutorials and work on new consulting projects.
